ExxonMobil launches ‘synergy gasoline’ in US

Synergy gasoline developed at same research and engineering labs as ExxonMobil Formula 1 racing fuels

performanceSPRING, Texas- Exxon and Mobil stations in the US have launched a new synergy gasoline the company claims enhances vehicle performance with an enhanced “seven ingredient proprietary formula.”

Exxon says that the new gasoline helps remove intake valve deposits, which can lead to better gas mileage.

“The new additive formula, which is part of our suite of Fuel Technology Synergy products, is a step-change innovation for our Exxon- and Mobil-branded stations compared to our previous additive package,” said Rob Wollard, Americas retail fuels marketing manager for ExxonMobil.

The gasoline was developed at the same ExxonMobil research and engineering labs as ExxonMobil Formula 1 racing fuels, and includes dual detergents to clean key engine parts, such as intake valves.

It has been extensively tested to ensure optimum performance.

“From our new Speedpass+ mobile payment option to our Plenti loyalty program, we are constantly looking for new ways to enhance our customers’ experiences and overall satisfaction with our products and services,” said Wollard.

Synergy gasoline is available at almost 11,000 Exxon- and Mobil-branded retail stations in the US.
