SOCHI, Russia, May 11 (Reuters) – Russia will continue contacts with Saudi Arabia after a new energy minister was appointed over the weekend, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

He added that he had no immediate plans to meet or talk to Khaled al-Falih, who took over on Saturday from long-serving Ali al-Naimi. Novak said that Russia has not received a written invitation to an OPEC meeting on June 2 in Vienna.
