Epic Pipeline to transport oil from West Texas to Corpus Christi

Three companies are working together to build a 730-mile long ultralight crude oil pipeline that will provide access to producers in both the Delaware and Midland basins and will deliver crude to Corpus Christi.

The pipeline will have maximum capacity of 440,000 barrels per day of crude oil and condensates and should be operational by the Q1, 2019.

The Epic Pipeline would deliver crude from Orla, Pecos, Crane and Midland in the West Texas Permian Basin and transport it to an affiliate’s terminal in the Port of Corpus Christi as well as other drop-off points along the way.

The Epic Pipeline is being built by San Antonio-based TexStar Midstream Logistics, Castleton Commodities International out of Connecticut and Ironwood Midstream Energy Partners, who are based in Texas.
