Texas November 2016 production came from 181,475 oil wells and 92,930 gas wells
Production for Nov. 2016 according to the Railroad Commission of Texas is 72,322,284 barrels of crude oil and 571,259,135 mcf of total gas from oil and gas wells, according to a press release.
These preliminary figures are based on production volumes reported by operators and will be updated as late and corrected production reports are received.
Production reported to the Commission for Nove. 2015, was: 70,969,209 barrels of crude oil preliminarily, updated to a current figure of 87,022,508 barrels; and 596,523,139 mcf of total gas preliminarily, updated to a current figure of 710,454,789 mcf.
The Commission reports that from Dec. 2015 to Nov. 2016, total Texas reported production was 982 million barrels of crude oil and 8.0 trillion cubic feet of total gas.
Crude oil production reported by the Commission is limited to oil produced from oil leases and does not include condensate, which is reported separately by the Commission.
Texas preliminary Nov. 2016 crude oil production averaged 2,410,743 barrels daily, compared to the 2,365,640 barrels daily average of Nov. 2015.
Texas preliminary Nov. 2016 total gas production averaged 19,041,971 mcf a day, compared to the 19,884,105 mcf daily average of Nov. 2015.
Texas production in Nov. 2016 came from 181,475 oil wells and 92,930 gas wells.
