Abutec will be fully integrated into Aereon’s global business infrastructure
Global gas and vapor combustion technology company Aereon says it has expanded its product line by acquiring Abutec, whose products are used extensively across US oil and natural gas shale basins.
Aereon announced the acquisition of select assets of Abutec, including the Abutec brand, burner technology, and Quad O Certified Enclosed Combustors.
“This demonstrates our continued commitment to adding differentiated technology for gas and vapor emissions controls, and complements our industry-leading line of products such as the Guardian and Sentry Vapor Recovery Units (VRUs), flare systems, Firecat® thermal oxidizers and Certified ultra-low Emissions Burners,” said Michael Hainsworth, CEO of Aereon.
Abutec burner technology complies with EPA regulatory standards (Quad O), producing up to 99.9-plus per cent destruction and removal efficiency of harmful emissions, Aereon said in a press release.
In addition to the standard Quad O Certified Enclosed Combustors line which includes the ABUTEC 20 and ABUTEC 100 models, the company also provides Quad O compliant burners (ABUTEC 200), elevated flares, and custom enclosed combustion products.
“We are very excited about adding another high quality brand and technology to the Aereon family,” said Hainsworth.
Abutec will be fully integrated into Aereon’s global business infrastructure, and former Abutec customers retain the ability to immediately place orders and receive service for the Abutec products directly with Aereon.
“This demonstrates our continued commitment to adding differentiated technology for gas and vapor emissions controls, and complements our industry-leading line of products such as the Guardian and Sentry Vapor Recovery Units, flare systems, Firecat® thermal oxidizers and Certified ultra-low Emissions Burners,” said Hainsworth.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Aereon is a global company in gas and vapor combustion and recovery technologies and services.
Aereon was formed in 2012 when Flare Industries LLC acquired Jordan Technologies.
