Milestone Environmental Services, LLC announces the opening of its newest oilfield waste disposal facility in Pecos, Texas. Milestone broke ground on its newest slurry injection facility in Dec. of 2015 and has since completed construction.

“This facility will offer our customers improved efficiencies, reduced time in and time out, quality washouts (done once, done right), and prompt and accurate invoicing,” said Steve London, SVP of sales and marketing.

Milestone Environmental says the “next-generation facility,” will be capable of taking waste streams including oil-based and water-based muds, drilling fluids, flowback, tank bottoms, dirty water and produced water.

“Milestone’s newest facility in Pecos represents a major step forward for our company in many ways,” said CEO Gabriel Rio.

“Our slurry injection model has been significantly enhanced with a new design by Milestone’s top-notch engineering and operations teams.”

PLSI-Truck-5Plunger lift use rises in Permian Basin as producers cut costs. Oil and gas companies increasingly choosing plunger lift over rod pumps for full life of well.

Rio says the facility is the company’s first step into the Permian Basin, the most prolific oil play in the United States.

“Even as the oil industry soldiers through an historic and painful downturn, we are proud to be able to bring necessary environmental services to a region that has been historically underserved,” he said in a press release.
